Ramona's birthday

Kaya decided a month ago that we should have a party for her cabbage patch doll (who is, incidentally, over 30 years old). Kaya proclaimed that the 25th was Ramona's birthday. And so it was. Kaya helped bake the cake and get everything ready.

She wore her special purple tutu.

Ramona had the seat of honour. Max the lamb, Samantha and Dolly all attended.

Kaya had to help blow out the candle because Ramona couldn't quite do it herself.

Blessed

Adlai showed up shining in his spiffy white outfit despite a highly unlikely and ill-timed incident involving orange sweet potatoe spit up moments before our departure to the church.

Our families were amazing and helped support us for Adlai's special day.

Adlai is baptized. We are blessed.

First Ski

The kids were giggling uncontrollably and were just generally hilarious to watch.

Kaya wanted to wear Adlai's clothes - his pants, his sweater, and his t-shirt - on top of her own outfit. She is pretty darn proud about getting everything on by herself.
