Too tall for the frame

The fountain shoots to 560 feet and was too tall to fit in the photo frame. Kaya and Adlai were suitably impressed and then got on with the playing.

Cacti and fountain hills

The kids explained to us that we should not touch any of the cacti because they were very prickly.
I love how it looks like Patrick is carrying Kaya following the cracks in the pavement.

The kids had a great time at the playgrounds at Fountain Hills.

Thunderbird park, Glendale

We head out for a morning walk in the desert in Thunderbird Park.
Cactus close up.
We enjoy the warmer weather and the bright morning sun.

Kaya's toes as she listens to Grandma read a story.

Adlai and Kaya prepare for a flight to Arizona to visit our friends and family. They take the pilot seat on the couch in their pj's.

Impish grin

Adlai sports his first sister induced scar on his left cheek. He is in good spirits despite his new tough guy image.

The kids play drums with Grandma Maihaa.

Chocolate face mechanic

Adlai received a huge crash-em up race track for Christmas. He wanted to use the screwdriver to put in new batteries.

Daddy took the kids to see the new baby giraffe at the zoo.
