I finally took a photography course and learned how to use the manual settings on my camera. I proceeded to run around taking many many shots.

Training wheels

Look closely - water striders!

This is one of Adlai's first spins on his big boy bike with training wheels. He is so proficient with the run bike it takes a bit of convincing to try to peddle.

Kindergarten

Adlai and I spent an hour following the bus through its zany route before it arrived at Kaya's school.

I can hardly believe my little girl is in kindergarten already!

Banff with Grandma

A few good eggs.

Patrick had to be away for a business trip so we gathered up our stuff and headed out for a day of fun with Grandma. Picnic at the playground was followed by a beautiful stroll past the meadow. Then we warmed ourselves in the hot springs before returning home.

8 years and counting

We have been married for 8 happy years.

To celebrate we had a staycation at a lovely hotel, practiced yoga in Prince's Island Park, and had a great dinner at Gypsy.
