We braved the snowstorm and bundled up the kids for midnight madness. The kids got photos with Santa, saw his reindeer, snacked on candy canes, observed the carolers, and had a good time playing with their cousins.
Kaya now assumes silly faces whenever I brandish the camera. She then eagerly asks to see what she looked like after each picture. I therefore need to catch her unawares to get any natural shots.
My boy child has been having rough nights - one can only assume that the two molars coming in on his right side are the culprits. I tried to take some photos of him in the morning light but he demanded, "Pick up Adlai," and I only managed to get the shots by balancing him on my leg and leaning away far enough so that the camera could almost focus.
