Mosquito hills
The views at sunset were amazing but it was almost impossible to stay still enough to get a shot with swarms of relentless mosquitos.
Paleo park
The kids were great buddies on the playground, taking care of each other, helping one another up and through the obstacles, and giggling with glee down the slides.
Mammoths and bunnies
Kaya has been reading about wolly mammoths and was suitably impressed by the real deal.

Royal Tyrrell
The kids were not so sure that these were statues. The roaring in the background and the mood lighting was a bit too realistic to linger.
The bubble wall was a hit. Adlai appears to disappear into it.

Watching diggers
We arrived at our campsite outside Drumheller. The kids' favourite activity of the morning was watching the excavator get loaded onto the big truck.

getting there
Kaya and Adlai enjoyed the Stampede and the C-train ride home. They talked about the whole experience for days.
