First downhill ski

This was Adlai's first time ever on downhill skis at Nakiska. Both kids had a great time and were highly impressed by a little whirlwind that blew the snow in a vortex around the magic carpet. By lunch time the hill was a rainbow explosion of ski jackets.

Christmas Eve

Our kids got to see the Parliament buildings. The cat man was a hit and fed chickadees from his hand. We took refuge from the windchill in the coffee place across the street and enjoyed lattes and hot chocolates.
