Patrick went for an early Tim Horton's run with Adlai, our early riser who is up, almost without fail, at 5:45 every morning. A herd of elk was crossing the highway.
Chalk drawing - on the campground road, on each other, on their pants - sent the kids into paroxysms of joy.
