All in all it went much more smoothly than I had imagined. The poor guy was unsure of what was going on but sat in his little chair with a steering wheel and took it like a man.
The buzzing razor was an oddity but Adlai resigned himself to it after a few moments.

The end product -- the spike stayed in for roughly 20 minutes but it was fun while it lasted!
